His experience includes a matrimonial matter in which the wife was awarded 63% of the matrimonial assets despite having made no direct financial contributions towards their acquisition.
Melvin’s work encompasses the preparation of pleadings, affidavits, written submissions and other court documents. He also assists clients throughout hearings and other stages of court proceedings.
In addition to matrimonial matters, Melvin handles probate disputes and applications under the Mental Capacity Act.
He also has civil litigation experience involving contractual disputes and debt recovery claims, giving him exposure to contentious matters beyond family law.
